Snowdrops

These little snowdrop buds have appeared in the last few days…there were just a few leaves and shoots visible before. They are alongside the bridleway / cycle path that runs in an old lay-by on the A1. It is very sheltered and southwest facing so I guess ideal for early spring flowers.

We are in Doncaster for the night - babysitting youngest granddaughter while Mum and and Dad go to an evening concert which eldest granddaughter is appearing in.
