Weird and Wonderful

Early this morning in Keswick.  This post box has been outside Treeby and Bolton cafe for years as has the giraffe.  The post box hasn't always had it's 'woollen' hat with knitted creatures, but it looks pleasing and interesting. Good on the knitters for their efforts.  People have decorated 'usual  things' in many places.  Cockermouth is another place where daffodils knitted or otherwise, have been placed around that town in recognition of William Wordsworth.  (Cockermouth was his birthplace.) It's strange to see a giraffe in the Lakes, whatever the significance it is advertising.  Don't forget the palm tree.  Three things and none related to each other.
I borrowed the title from the latest IKEA advert!!!!
I forgot to mention yesterday that our U3A group have a wicked sense of humour.  This month's theme is,,,, 'Photos in the Rain.'  There hasn't been rain today, but you won't have to wait long.  Just to remind you it can be a palaver to keep rain from the camera.  I have a brolly, plastic cover and a towel, but only two hands to master this technique!  Some of these photos will no doubt appear here.
Have a good weekend.
