U3A Digital Camera Group

The first Thursday in the month is the day for us to show members the photos taken over the last month.  That theme was 'Beaches,' and a mighty fine collection there was to, and briefly say something about it. This is what happens when showing the Print of the Month too.  Then it is tea/coffee time which also includes a social chat. The second half of the morning was  an audio visual display by those who wish to show their efforts.  The one on screen is the beginning of Blipper 'Derwentlass' Maryport Lifeboat demonstration, a morning out organised by her last summer. It was very good and hope she won't mind me highlighting her. 
Well the weather was awful and I needed a Blip rather than Blip one from the other day.
This photo was taken on my new phone and I have edited the screen brightness.  Hopefully you can make out the entrance to Maryport harbour with the lighthouse on the left and .the end of the pier on the right.  A good couple of hours.
