Making and using electricity

Today we have been having  solar panels  fitted to our roof. It's not straightforward as we  require a total of twelve panels installed on two roof elevations, and on the garage roof, to make the most of the sunlight throughout the day. We have a battery and an inverter  too, plus an app on our phones so we can become "solar energy bores" informing the hapless members of any captive audience exactly how much "leccy" our home is generating at any point in time, no matter how far from home we may be.  
My blip does not show said solar panels, but a curious  installation we discovered in a local garden, during our evening  walk.
