Mobbed

Just off south to Inverness for Berry's knee check up. Chris and I usually share the driving but he was sole chauffeur today and rather tired as a result. The extra was in the coffee shop in Golspie where we took a break. 

We arrived just after lunchtime, got Chris his new golf waterproofs (his 15 yr old ones were keeping him damp not dry!) and also got him a warm jacket as he's discovered his old one wasn't good enough for those penetrating winds!

It was man-shopping; no browsing, just a bee-line for the item and boom, Bob's your uncle! 

So we had to find things to do before we could check in to the hotel and went down to the Caledonian Canal to give Berry another short pull on the lead.  These birds are obviously used to being fed and I'm sure were pretty hungry as they zoomed in a soon as Chris and Berry moved away. I felt awful that I hadn't anything to offer!

Now trying to relax - at least, we humans are; Berry is full of beans, of course having been mostly in the car today. 

Fingers crossed that she passes the x- tray test tomorrow ....
