Bird bath

In a very brief interlude in the rain, a large puddle in the "cow field" was being used this morning.  5 minutes after I took this (from our kitchen window, so quality is poor, sorry), the birds had all flown, and it was getting dark, and 5 minutes after that it was pouring down again.

And it's continued to rain most of the day.

So another indoor day.

We got an email from our solicitor with large numbers of documents to do with our house purchase, so we spent a couple of hours picking these over, spotting several things we felt needed to be clarified.  So I've sent an email back to the solicitor with these points.  

Then I spent some time sewing, but W needed to send copies of bank statements to the import agent to prove our previous residence in the UK - and though he can print from his computer to our wireless printer, the only one who can scan is me.  So i had to break off and scan a whole lot.

The last but one block for the Christmas sampler is now almost complete.  If the weather remains this bad tomorrow I'll probably finish the blocks.
