I beg your indulgence…

Madison today enjoying a recuperative snooze. It’s what she does apparently if the stimuli get too much. You know what it’s like, all these funny faces in and out of vision, making odd cooing and clucking noises together with all the other sounds, sights and smells around her.

Not my photo of course, from her Californian grandmother who is keeping us well involved and included in their family. It’s wonderful.

Back here, what started as a glorious day ended in torrential rain and strong winds while we were out walking this afternoon. The kind weather waswelcome as we attended a funeral of an allotment holder this morning.

Chris is over from California again, in Manchester. Her not coming down to London so we won’t see him this time and anyway it’s only a couple of weeks til we go over. Grandmother is stepping up to help with childcare while he’s away and mum has returned to work. Looks like we’ll be helping out when we’re there.

Thank you for all your comments yesterday about the allotment outcomes. If you should want a briefing of the legal issues being sorted have a look at my reply to JohnRH
