Sitting out the Rain

The pair of collared doves often sit in the elder tree without making any attempt to use the feeders or the tray.  Perhaps they just like to be sociable??

It's been a morning of those small jobs: putting things away; shredding things; cleaning things; replying to Christmas cards etc. etc  I'm giving up on the weather forecasts as yet another load of washing is hung in front of the fire!
