Trains and Planes and Automobiles

It was like Grand Central Station at our home today. This morning, Hubby took his truck for some major PM. I did more housekeeping jobs. Lauren brought River over soon after to spend the day with us. That meant I was confined to the Rec Room because he is still afraid of the kitties. We played, read, watched the birdies, and went out to the playground between rain showers. He and Granddad really enjoyed their day together. My sister and BIL stopped by and River had to engage them with his toys. We were so wrapped up with that sweet boy that we forgot to pick up Brooklyn. Luckily, she could stay in her Mom’s office until Granddad got there. Just as River was on the verge of a nap, Chase arrived. It was their initial meeting - River is almost three. Darn COVID. Lauren and Chris stopped by after work to pick up their children. Oh my, we are enjoying the sound of silence this evening. Hubby is getting us carryouts for dinner and then it will be Kindle time with a splash of wine. Hope your day was filled with love like ours. Poor Mack now has Sky’s virus. Sure hope I didn’t breathe in any of those germs on my last visit. Stay safe and healthy folks. Thanks for dropping by. “Children will not remember you for the material things you provided, but for the feeling that you cherished them.” -Richard L. Evans
