Toi tois …

….. ….. ….. and Lake Hayes in a beautifully calm morning. Austroderia toetoe is a large form of tussock grass, very spreading, but is in its element here.

Two friends and I walked along from Bendemeer Bay to the Lake Hayes Showgrounds for the annual fair. There were sheep, cattle, pigs, goats, etcetc, stalls, and the amazing exhibitions/competitions in the pavilion. It was wonderful bumping into some dear friends I hadn’t seen for years.
It was getting hot by the time we left and walked back along the lake track to the car.

I went along to my daughter’s later this afternoon with some greens for the chooks, and I gave them fresh water too. Their run is shaded by trees in the afternoon fortunately.
