Friday Sun-Day

Look! We had a glorious winter’s day without rain! Driving to Blackford there was much flooding along the Earn Valley.

We had a great walk - parking in the village, walking up the Kirk Brae, through the wood next to the cemetery, then along the back road that eventually takes you to Braco , but we veered off to the path at the back of the Red Brae. I’ve loved this view here all my life. It’s just a very small part of it but the far away hills are near Callander. Was so lucky growing up having all this stunning countryside to roam around, escaping from the parents for hours and hours.

We decided to stop off at Gleneagles on the way back for a cake and coffee in the Cafe. Bumped into three ex colleagues waiting to go in to the Century Bar for afternoon tea and had a chat with them.

Laura and Ben were up at night and Ben has agreed to come to Tabou with me for Breakfast in the absence of Stewart who is going to Glasgow for two days.
