St Andrew’s

As the scaffolding goes up and the Abbey is closed, today’s morning service was held in the parish church of St Andrews; a late 12c church that served the monastery . Now it’s a community centre, and well used throughout the week. It was cosy and relaxed inside as we worshipped . One elderly gentleman said he hadn’t seen it used as a church for 70 years. Google tells me it was listed in 1965.
