Chair

Slow start and packed up then over to P’s and he was in the chair. We played around with a bit and he seems happy with it. The key thing will be getting him to lie it back when he dozes rather than slumping forward as he’d been doing before….but he doesn’t think he does snooze during the day so probably won’t!
Didn’t stay too long once I’d sorted the two tax forms and shredded some things and made phone calls. He was a bit melancholy about Diesel in terms of worrying he didn’t do the right thing, but we talked it over and I think I helped him see there were really no other options, Hope so.
Left him after lunch then met up with T in Woburn (passing through the deer park, extra) for what was supposed to be a quick soup and sandwich but the pub was very slow serving us. Tasty though when it arrived, then stopped off briefly at K’s to check if her antibiotics were helping yet. She looked very marginally brighter but not by a lot and still sounds grim with her coughing.
Chatted a little then back in the car and up to Nottingham to S’s. The house is all finished now and very cosy and stylish. We had a lovely supper then booked an Orkney trip in May and chatted whilst half watching a couple of programmes. Early start tomorrow!
