Repurposing an Apple iMac

Which is seventeen years old. This is the very first Apple iMac which was equipped with an Intel Processor and could run Microsoft Windows. Our main CAD and Visualisation software runs on Windows.

This particular Mac has not been for several years, after I deemed no longer safe to access the Internet.

Today I set it up above our Sony TV to run as a separate DVD player. Our original DVD is no longer a going concern.

However the iMac is working extremely well indeed. Our TV Room is really quite small and large screen TVs are not necessary.

The weather remains bright, but still bitterly cold and I continue in the Studio.
