Morning Reynard

I don't have bird feeders but when we had the snowy weather before Christmas I put an upturned terracotta urn in the front garden so that I could use it as a table for the birds. A robin, some blackbirds, a crow and a magpie have been visiting regularly.

Because I no longer have Ollie dog to give the chicken skin, fatty offcuts, ancient cheese etc. to I've been leaving it on the urn for Reynard. The titbits disappear overnight. He came for a trot round the garden in the frost this morning and I shot him through the double glazing. I think he is quite young and his coat is in lovely condition. However it seemed as though he was limping slightly. I think I can see a lesion on his hock.
