Evening Walkers…

A fine sunny and hot day here at Kaiteriteri. A lazy day for staying around the camp after yesterday’s exertions in the Abel Tasman. My nephew, Andrew and his wife, Susie visited this afternoon. Son James rode over from Marahau. Later he and Andrew drove to Marahau to collect his gear needed for camping. Margaret and I walked around the estuary early evening. The track is partly through attractive native bush as seen in tonight’s image…James, Andrew and Susie went riding in the Mountain Bike Park adjoining the Camp. Tanya and Josh arrived in the evening and regaled us stories of their experience “ Canyoning “ today in the Abel Tasman. It sounded very scary! A fun time had by all of us. Camping with family is magical.
