Bang To Rights!

We've had a run to Tetbury today, mainly to have a look at some of the antique shops there. We managed to stumble across the Tetbury Police Museum though, as coincidentally mentioned in the latest Cotswold Life. It's only open Tuesdays and Fridays so we were lucky. We even managed a quick look into the courtroom which had been closed off as they were running a training session there. They were on a break which is why we could briefly see inside. As we left we heard a conversation along the lines 'maybe it's not such a good idea to run a course on the same day that the museum is open'. I would agree with that.

The rest of the museum was fully open. Unlike Northleach prison they have prisoners in the cells, with very regular and loud snoring sound effects. The museum attendant (an American?) suggested they would be very happy to loan the snoring prisoner to Northleach, as 'he never stops!'

On our way along the main street I'm pretty sure we nearly bumped into Neil and Christine Hamilton. We didn't see King Charles though, even though we popped into his shop. There were lots of books on sale there but I couldn't see Spare anywhere. I forgot to say yesterday that it's now half price in WHSmith, though we still weren't tempted to buy it.

Our very early garden snowdrops look like they've had it now after the recent very cold spell.
