New Ride

L has arranged a new loan horse and today was going to be her first opportunity to ride over the Chase for almost three months.  Well, that was the plan until another deep frost made the ground unsuitable.  So while we still went up, it was mainly to do chores and chill out in what turned out to be a lovely sunny, albeit cold day.

This is the horse, Dice, who has this remarkable colouration of the eyelash over his right eye.
