Haworth

We needed to refill our laundry and fabric conditioner bottles so used it as an excuse to book in to Cobbles & Clay for lunch whilst they were filled at the Wholefood Store.  As usual at this end of the year, Haworth Main Street was pretty much deserted except for the Cafe!  Good move to book ahead.

We both had the specials:  Tony the meat and potato pie, which took me right back to my teaching days when a child wrote me an essay which included the following word which took me a while to decipher: metanpotatipi - got it??  I enjoyed the sweet potato chilli which was very yum.  Then we shared a slice of orange and lemon cake before returning for our refills.  I also managed to get some new slippers from Pretty Penny.

The mist which is hanging around over the village still, despite the rise in temperature, is making for some great skies out of the window, but for today I'm going with the iconic blip down the Haworth cobbles.  I think these shops at the top of the hill have changed hands again since I last blipped here.  I'm sure it was a gin place last time....
