Any horologists out there who can cast any light on this grandfather clock I saw in a jewellers today? Loved the illustrations as well as the clock face. And it provides today’s blip.

More last minute stuff. We visited Doreen this morning then drove to town for lunch and coffee. Prior to a walk along the River Medway we bought some wrapping paper, wool and a new battery for Doreen’s watch.

I’ve been having trouble getting the house alarm to work, more specifically the the alarm keypad which despite all instructions will alarm the system but will not disarm. I bought a new key fob but that refuses to pair with the system. Not pleased.

Packing tomorrow, taxi at 4.00pm. Still plenty to do.
