Topsides

Blue skies and almost some warmth in the sun. The snowdrops at the back gate have pushed their way into bloom. A formation of geese passed way overhead, heading north. And I did a couple of hours cleaning the boat - the place was deserted so I was able have my little speaker on.
Burns night but as I was heading on I made do with a Jubilee haggis supper. It was terrific! Then over for the EML meeting at the RFYC. And it was a good and productive meeting - friendly even. The recent past may finally be getting put behind us. And straight from there to the nineteen bus and the Diggers. And a wee whisky for the bard from Phil who we won’t see for a month as he’s going aff tae Fuerteventura. As one does at this time of year.
