Three decided to go up Tryfan via the North Ridge and I would loved to have joined them except for the snow and ice! One went off to walk the Moel Elio round and the other three of us took a path at the side of Little Tryfan up onto the ridge, all the way along and then down to Capel Curig.

The steep descent at the end wasn't very pleasant, I slipped over in the wet grass and mud, twice! I was really tired, but luckily no rocks were involved. I'm not fit enough, having not walked up a mountain since last summer in the Lakes, and I think I'd underestimated the effect last week's chest infection was having.
