South Eveleigh Precinct

Today I went to South Eveleigh to catch the last of an exhibition there and have a wander. Formerly the Eveleigh Railway Workshops, it is now heritage listed and has been repurposed for retail, residential, hospitality and services. At the same time the precinct pays homage to its history of operation from 1882 to 1988 with a museum and some installations that the visitor can just stumble across.

My blip is a representation of three workers. Each has some information on their back, respectively about pay day, pay rates and bonuses. Steel casters made the most money. I liked the way these dudes were casting shadows on the windows, which were also making pleasing reflections.

For all who had a go at sexing yesterday's begonia, I advise that most of you were right in identifying it as female. Well done!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
