Perfect Peace

Took a detour from our shopping trip to Reguengos, to have a look at the jetty where we had our first ever swim in the Alqueva. Well, we couldn't get to it because it was out in the water; last time we went there, it was high up on dry ground. We walked on the edge of the Lake as the sun set and the colours changed from gold (see extra with Monsaraz reflected in the water) to these pastel blues and pinks to deeper reds.

Utter silence apart from the two ducks you can see in the main, chatting to each other as they sailed across the beauty, Mourão just visible on the far shore.

Gratefuls:
- living somewhere so beautiful
- meeting Jasmine in Continente, and having quite a chat
- that the newborn lamb Mike brought to warm up in front of our fire eventually managed to stand up, and has been reunited with its mother
