Life through the lens...

The wall

What a difference a day makes.
Cold wind, dull and showers. So glad we decided to go out yesterday.

So a quick visit to the farm shop for more milk, and some slices of beef for tomorrow’s sandwiches.
On the look out for a blip stopped by Tong Village Hall and small village green. This is where I spied this lovely old wall. The stile takes a footpath across the fields to Drighlington.
The Hall was originally the village school, built in 1736 by the Tempest family who lived at Tong Hall.
So maybe the wall was built then. Certainly looks very old.
Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting Wide Wednesday once again.

Thought I would do a Yorkshire Quiz throughout February.
May be easy for some but not others.
Still a bit of fun.

Day 1.

What organisation did Benjamin Waugh, of Settle, help found?
