Forget The Snow

Warmer today, helped by wall to wall sunshine, although still below freezing. The light at sunset was sublime and I wanted to feature that and forget the snow. The shoreline has disappeared now, land and lake are as if one.

Deep footprints behind me in the snow led to this spot. Seems a shame to disturb the pristine conditions. I try to remember to stop and see if there's a shot before walking into a scene. Footprints can't be undone.
