GREEN HELLEBORE

A great QiGong (Tai Chi) session this morning.  It does seem Strange seeing C and Gladders in a different setting but with zoom at least we can still have our Tai Chi sessions.  Technology is wonderful when it works.

Talking of which on BBC News this morning they shows these lovely gentleman who had a prosthetic NOSE of all things.  You would never know if you use met him, there was also a lady who had a prosthetic ear.  These ae all things that had to be done after they'd had surgery following cancer.  The confidence it gave them to be able to mix in public again is phenominal.  Those people that produce and fit these things are just as amazing as the surgeons.  WOW - it felt very humbling to watch it.

After lunch today Hubby and I went on a walk round the block.  We just went down to Kents Bank station, where he checked out his plot, we then walked partway up Kirkhead Road, along Greaves Wood and through the little woods there up to Allithwiate Road before heading home.  Just about 45 minutes but it's better exercise than sitting indoors.  The woods had lots of clumps of snowdrops which were lovely to see.  I may go back later in the week to take more photos of those or I may just photograph the ones that have now come up in garden.

This hellebore is from the garden.  I always think it's such a shame that they hang thei heads because  you don't see the beauty of their underneath.

I may go to Lancaste tomorrow to take photos of Lanaster Priory Church of St Mary's which is near Lancaster Castle (used to be a prison).  Depends on the weather and the trains  I haven't been on that train for such a long time, largely due to covid but also to do with Northern's unreliability - but I may just chance it tomorrow.

Well that's all for now.  Do take care everyone and stay safe and I will see you all tomorrow.
