All Change

This sky was the moment a beautiful sunrise and early sunshine suddenly changed the atmosphere, heralding a dull day that looked cold and dismal even though the thermometer said it was a balmy 9°.

The tide was at its lowest ebb so we had quite a walk to find the water, but find it we did about 100yds away and it felt good to dook again after my flirtation with Covid and Sue’s week in Madeira.

It’s the birthday of Daughter #3 today. She is coming after work to celebrate with me. The Prosecco is cooling, the house is warming and the meal is in the oven. I can breathe a sigh of relief and relax.
