Two skies

The sky was divided just before nightfall. There were two distinct shades. One gradually swamping over the other, which grew redder and redder until it surrendered.

(This is not a multiple exposure shot. Neither is the effect photoshopped).

The day at office was most dull. Just had a few things to complete, which were done with ease and then there weren't enough reasons to stay on. I love our cafeteria. It's glass walled from two sides and has the most brilliant panoramic views, most of which is green. One would feel alive alive up there.

The highlight of a day is often the simplest thing. Like today, it was the walk back from office. Being only a distance of 3 km and some daylight still remaining, I decided to walk. To see the faces as well as the edifices that make up this city. And it was pleasant.

Chanced upon a neat South Indian Dosa place on the way, and unplanned though it was, decided to check it out. Had the most delicious Dosa and filter coffee (typical of the region) there. Have to visit the place once more before I leave. Now it is just early evening and buzzing with activity downstairs. People are swimming, playing, jogging... The place is lively. But I plan to remain indoors tonight.

Just a book, a balcony and the wind. That will do.
