If you can't beat them...

Galanthus elwesii "Snow Fox"

A while ago we changed the pillows at the Lodge, it seemed very wasteful to just send them to the landfill.  So we looked around for either a charity which could use them (any pillow is better than no pillow) or a way to recycle them.   Eventually, we found somebody who would recycle them, a shop 20 miles away in Carlisle.  Today being the first time we have been going to Carlisle since the change off we went.

After dropping off the pillows we were within striking distance of Dobbies garden centre.  This had two attractions, the chance of a blip and coffee, not necessarily in that order.  One of the few plants currently in flower, other than of course Hellebores, are Snowdrops.  Being displayed at eye level Snow Fox was an obvious choice for a blip.
