At least that is what I tentatively identify it as, I am happy to be corrected if you know better.

This twig blew off a tree months and I picked it up for a couple of reasons.  The first was to practice identification and the second was for a blip.  I made my attempt at identification and clipped the twig upright in a holder.  There it sat on a shelf in the studio until today.

I needed a blip so I had an idea I would do a stack.  Well, that didn't work out I must have moved the focus too much between shots.  So I have fallen back on a single shot I took before I decided to try focus stacking.  Had I got the very tips of the lichen in focus it would have been better.
