Hack Saw Reg

We were awoken this morning to the strident and unmistakable sound of chainsaws and industrial shredders. 

A neighbour is having some gigantic conifers removed. (Main and extra) 

Yippee, we will have more view. Another 10k added to the value of our house!

They were removing the lower branches at half past eight, when I went out for a walk in dense freezing fog. 

By one o'clock the first huge tree was down. Gone. It was about fifty feet high. The guys were very professional, and did an impressive job.

I wonder if they will get home and join a coniference call....
