Another Dreary,Grey Day.......

............so didn't go far - just to the Library in fact to return a slightly overdue book. I had not really noticed this house, which is opposite, before but was intrigued by the old stone arch and the ever watchful lion - have they been there since the Victorian house was built or were they a bit of added "antiquity"? I know the Victorians liked Follies and Grottos etc.. Whatever, the whole gave a sort of romantic look to the place and I rather liked it!

It is still grey and gloomy, temperature at 5.30pm only 11 deg C and heavy rain forecast. Oh dear!
