Clematis montana rubens.......

.............,When I posted Mrs. H's pond yesterday, I indicated I would go back to photograph her Clematis when it opened - however, I saw this one this morning and couldn't resist it! I think Mrs. H's is white and if so, may Blip it when it is in flower. This lovely pink one smothers an old stone wall and is an absolute picture. It has a slight vanilla scent to it as well.

The weather, at the moment, is bright and sunny with some heavy clouds around but it's still very chilly (9 deg.C.)for the middle of May. I still have a few plants to put in!
