Red Sky At Night

My day started with the usual chores, I am very behind this weekend, so only the essentials have been done.  It was lovely morning so I was keen to get out for a run  It felt much better than last weekend’s run.

After lunch TT and I decided to go for a walk, but couldn’t decide where.  In the end we drove to Cockburnspath then did a circular route via Bilsdean, and Cove.  At the start our path was carpeted with snowdrops, then we walked through woods with no snowdrops, then along to Bilsdean and down to the coast, passing by the waterfall.  We walked along the stony beach and then on to Cove.  We walked down to the harbour before retracing our steps to the top of the cliffs and walking back to Cockburspath, by which time the sky was on fire.

We drove home and the sky was changing all the time.  It was just lovely.  I popped into the supermarket for a few things then it was home to make tea – Nigella’s chicken, pea  and leek bake.  It is very easy and very tasty.  Later there was a chat to TT’s mum, then we were the only people we know not watching Happy Valley (we need to star at series 1, episode 1), so watched another programme about the aircraft carrier – which is really interesting.

What to blip today?  I have gone with the evening sky.  There are snowdrops, the waterfall and Cove harbour in the extras.
