Glorious Day!

It was a stunning day - high's in the mid-50's F/12.7C and a beautiful blue sky. It was really hard to be inside at all. But of course I don't currently have a garden to poke around in, so I went for a walk instead.

It's my ex's birthday, so he came over for a visit. Sadly, we have to put his very sweet old cat down tomorrow. It's so hard to even think about. And the rather coincidental thing is that I'm going to meet our new kitten on Saturday. It will be good to have a new kitty to love, and to honor Callie. And Izzy, I hope, will be ecstatic. 

This is one of the primroses that I bought yesterday. It is truly as bright as this....eye-popping isn't it?!

Rain tonight, but gosh that shot of Vitamin D today was delightful!
