Funny Reg

An extremely busy morning at the village hall. Far more bacon butties teas and coffees than you could shake a stick at! In fact it was a record breaker! More people, more butties, more teas and coffees and more takings than ever before. We have certainly become more popular week on week with new faces each Saturday and of course all the regulars. It was a really jolly morning, especially as one of our regulars, the lovely Lilian was celebrating her 94th birthday. We had cake and candles and sang happy birthday in a very full hall!
I then spent a rather lazy afternoon doing nothing very much just a bit of me time. I did try to take Reg for a walk round the village. He got only about 100yards from the house and sat down. He stared down the hill at Daisy the labradoodle who lives at the bottom and was out for a walk. You can see her in the very far distance in the photo, well her owner at least! As soon as she disappeared Reg turned round to go back home. He'd obviously had all the exercise he wanted earlier in the day in the garden! Sometimes he is a funny little dog.
