Emergency Alert

This afternoon I came upstairs to my study to work on the talk I am to present in April at the reunion of my graduating class. Both our iPhones shrieked out an alarum. I went downstairs to where I'd left mine, and we together read the Emergency Alert. I took a photo of the message, and that is today's Blip. 

If the weather is as bad as the worst predictions, I won't go to work. Because of the direction the winds will be coming, we are quite protected here. The height of the hills behind us could well mean that both wind and rain will be pushed up and over this area.
