Our snowdrops

We have a small but expanding bunch of snowdrops in the front garden. I first planted them as a couple of bulbs which were given to us many years ago.

Seeing them today I decided I must record them as they will go over quite quickly in the warmer days we are having. They will shine in my journal as a marker of the season. I do like them very much.

In their honour I changed to my macro lens and even lay flat on the ground despite Helena's trepidation to get this close up view and angle. I think you need to see the undersides of the flowers to appreciate their subtle green colours.
