But, then again . . . . .

Where's That Cat When You Want Him.

This is the view from The Old Lady's new bedroom, over the roof tops of Bristol to the ridge of hills that include Dundry at the right hand end. All it needs is the cat from the opening scenes, from twenty or so years ago, of the British soap opera, "Coronation Street." According to my memory, the camera panned slowly over the pan tiles and eventually came to rest on a cat sleeping in the sun; it was most unrealistic, who ever heard of the sun shining in Manchester?

As planned, TOL, along with Sis and myself, spent several hours there working out what she would need, or want, to take with her when she moves in either tomorrow or soon after. We're still having difficulty realising how quickly things have happened: a week ago she put her name down, yesterday we heard there was a room for her, tomorrow she moves in if she wishes.

Our thanks to those who have offered kind words which have been passed on.
