Helena's birthday tulips

Ten days ago it was Helena's birthday and her good friend Kitty came to her party and gave her a wonderful bunch of tulips. There were enough for three separate vases each with different coloured flowers.

I haven't been feeling well for a couple of days and have noticed that the flowers are nearing their peak. So today I grabbed my little camera and took a couple of snaps of these yellow and red blooms as there was some morning light coming through the window.
