Hail to the Homeland

Backblipping.

We drove down to Cornwall for a few days with our friends Bob and Sheila. It was a good run but as we passed the Nearly Home Trees on the A30 I really needed a stop and not just for a coffee.

We stopped at the rather splendid Cornwall Services, and this poster is outside the loos. To my surprise I was stopped on my exit, waving my hands around to dry them off, by this lady. "Would you take my picture here, please?" And of course, I complied.

Her iPhone was older and didn't have a wide enough lens for the narrow walkway, so I took one with mine too and emailed it to her... "These words were written by my late father", she clarified.

Good words.
