Norbury Park

This morning we decided to walk around Norbury Park, its not a park as such but rather just open countryside with a few farms. Usually I see lambs there at this time of year so I took my long lens to get some close up shots of the lambs but there were no lambs, only some rather pregnant ewes. I have always liked this barn that we pass by, the lichen on the roof adds colour and the surrounding trees are full of catkins now, adding even more colour.

I have mentioned before the enterprising couple who have set up a coffee place in the middle of these woods, they serve the most amazing cappuccinos from their fitted out landrover - its a popular spot, they also have some fires going and kids love to roast marshmallows there - check it out in the extras, and note Xena who was also hoping to get an order in! They even have dairy free and gluten free options!

After our walk we went home and then after lunch Gavin went to buy paint for the bedrooms that need to be repainted once the roofer has fixed the leaks. He went to a new decorating store and came home with a big smile on his face, nothing like a decent DIY store to make him happy!

It rained here all afternoon but Tommy and Inca who are in Norfolk for the weekend have just sent photos of the most beautiful sunset on the beach. Lucky them!

Tonight is firmly a stay at home evening! We are looking forward to relaxing and watching some TV, maybe a movie.
