Redpoll

I've enjoyed a couple of hours tidying up in the garden this morning and then took ten minutes out to focus my camera on the elder tree.  I was surprised to spot a number of rare visitors in such a short time, this redpoll; a greater spotted woodpecker; male and female siskins and long tailed tits amongst them, blip sorted!

After lunch I took a walk to the garden centre for a couple of birthday cars and walked a longer way home to view the rhodo extraction in a different part of the estate.  The munching machine has certainly done a great job.

The remainder of the afternoon has been passed scanning in family photos for album no.5, hopefully to take advantage of the 30% off Blurb are advertising just now.
