A messy day

MrMacD preparied his sourdough today, ready for baking tomorrow.  He also set up our household’s online census form, ready for the 7th of March.  Meanwhile I pottered around not doing much of anything, but I did manage to sit down with MrMacD and plan a gluten-free meal for tomorrow, as we have three friends coming for dinner, and one of them is a coeliac.

We missed the news again tonight as we were down in St Heliers with the Pigeon Underground, walking from St Heliers to Mission Bay and back, a total of 5kms but at a fast pace. We had the usual photo at the end, which is posted on the Facebook page, then we all piled across the road to the St Heliers Bay Pigeon Racing Club bar for a drink and a chat.

I managed to snap three photos of the Pigeon Underground van, which was hit by another vehicle, probably on Friday night I think.  It must have been hit with a lot of force as it was pushed right up onto the pavement.  As a contrast to the photos of the van, there is one of two people sitting on the beach enjoying the early evening sunshine.
