The tide had just turned and was unusually high and covering the path so we had to divert for a short stretch as we walked towards Port Seton harbour.  There were the usual fishing boats and also a couple of new boats and several eider ducks with many gulls waiting for scraps as a fisherman was peeling prawns. At Cockenzie harbour the sun was sinking and by the time we reached Prestonpans the sun was setting casting a bronze reflection across the water and shore.
(Thanks to Bobsblips for todays challenge of “reflections”).
