Flossmo

Problem

Back blip yesterday.

The day did not turn out as planned. I was woken at 5:30 by Mr Flossmo, who had developed a problem related to Monday's surgery. By 6:00 we were in Frimley Park Hospital A&E. I can recommend an early arrival for easy parking and empty waiting room but not for any other reason.

A&E staff tried to solve the problem but were not successful. Two and a half hours later we were not much further forward and anxiety had set in for both of us. Fortunately by then the day staff from the relevant department had arrived and they were called over to deal with the problem. Finally it was sorted and we sat for a further three hours to be sure there were no more repercussions before Mr Flossmo was allowed home again. A mixture of relief and exhaustion all round.

I had a quick sandwich and then drove to Guildford for a meeting of our printmaking group leaving Mr Flossmo resting in bed. We had a pleasant meeting and, as I left, I was able to catch a photograph of the  low sun.

So a  stressful day although Mr Flossmo seems to have recovered from the emergency very well considering. The important thing now is for him to have some rest and take it easy - are you reading this Mr Flossmo?
