Worm Bank

There’s been a steady withdrawal of mealworms throughout the day. Mostly bluebirds but an occasional starling, titmouse or nuthatch joins in. Let’s hope my morning deposit was large enough to cover them all, otherwise I’ll see an overdrawn notice from the Worm Bank tomorrow, plus a whole flock of angry customers • It’s lightly snowing but only 1-3” expected • I was happy to find the Newcastle vs Manchester United Carabao Cup game on TV. A Joy Snack, for sure, but not the happy ending I was hoping for. Dolly’s favorite Newcastle team lost 0-2. I’m so bummed :( • I hope everyone is enjoying this last weekend in February. Spring is on our doorstep :)
