It's been a busy and productive day!

G went to the Marina to teach her kid while I finished the ironing. We then went to friend Farzan's house for lunch. Farzan is from Iran and makes the most delicious crispy rice (a special Iranian dish), and we requested for it to be on the menu.

Not wanting to put her through any trouble, we said, "just simple stuff" and "what can we bring?" We got there to find Farzan had cooked loads of delicious food (we were just 5). I got the customary photo before we ate.

We chatted happily until 5 PM and then had to leave because G & I had things to do, like watch the EFL Cup match. Before that though, we made an attempt to collect the turbo, which is now in Dubai. No luck. The shipment is in the depot but hasn't been "sorted."

The football was good, but not the result G was hoping. We found a new section of McCafferty's to watch it in. Believe it or not, we actually did a shop at Carrefour before finally getting home at 11:30! Phew!
