Another cold day though the wind is much calmer so a pleasant walk into town and back.
Last night I enjoyed the new ‘Saving Lives in Leeds’ particularly because Professor Simon Kay is a Guernseyman (well almost because he was a young child when his family moved here). His speciality is hand transplants and all because he injured his pinky when he was young. I last saw him about 50 years ago when he was a uni student and crowds of us used to gather in Lucifer’s Bar at the Bella Luce Hotel. Ah those days…
